Sunday, 28 June 2009 by Admin
This is my gorgeous little nephew Joseph taking a looksie at the new book on his latest visit back to the farm. He’s a bright spark this one and just adorable. (I’m a very proud aunty can you tell.) Another future farmer no doubt, just like his daddy.

This was the beautiful sunrise I woke to the other morning. I raced out inbetween getting the kids ready for the bus at 7am, to take this picture behind our backyard.

Thursday, 25 June 2009 by Admin
I’m having the launch for The Family Farm next Friday — July 3 — at the CWA in Pingaring from 2.30pm. If you’re nearby, come in for a cuppa and a chat. I will gladly sign the book, if you really want my scribble in it. It will be great to catch up with everyone.

Simple beauty

Monday, 08 June 2009 by Admin
I drove out to visit my friend Jacinta the other day and took this picture. I just like the fence and the cloudy sky and the way the road went to it. I see such beautiful things just driving around the countryside, especially when i do the mail run every Friday. I keep saying to

In the Pink

Thursday, 28 May 2009 by Admin
I took a 3 1/2 hour trip to Perth to watch Pink last Friday and it was worth it. My cousin had a spare ticket which I grabbed and we were not dissapointed. Pink was amazing and her acrobatics were fantastic. Thought i’d share a couple of pics I took with you all.

Hope all mum’s had a great Mothers Day! To raise funds for our babysitter at our local golf club, the girls got together and put on a Mothers Day Lunch with all the trimmings. We had stalls with plants, jewellery, shoes, and had a massive cake stall and raffles. It was a great day and

Hard work pays off

Tuesday, 28 April 2009 by Admin
I spent the last few days messing around in my front garden, shifting slabs of concrete and rocks to do this pathway. And two sore legs and back later I am chuffed with the results. The effort was worth it. Just thought I’d share that with you.

Easter at Hopetoun

Thursday, 16 April 2009 by Admin
Hope everyone had a great easter and got some kind of break or at least got to have some fun. We went to Hopetoun with the family and had a great time camping. Here’s a picture of Blake on his first trip to the beach on arrival. We did plenty of sitting around the camp

Bookish party

Wednesday, 25 March 2009 by Admin
Our latest Pingaring bookclub night was, as usual, a lot of fun. Regardless of the bottles of wine, etc, on the table, we do actually discuss the books we read (in among the gossip, as sometimes we don’t get to see each other until the next bookclub six weeks later). It’s a great group of
