Friday, 12 November 2010 by Admin

Crops

Tuesday, 09 November 2010 by Admin
Its that time of year again…harvest. Though to look at this picture you’d think it was okay, but for our area in WA it’s quite grim. There was hardly any rain this year to help finish the crops. I think I heard it said that it’s the third worst year ever recorded…I may be wrong

The Vet

Thursday, 28 October 2010 by Admin
This morning I had to drive out to a friends farm to meet a vet from Swans Vet in Esperance (yes he had come a long way) so Sally could get her first needle. It was better than driving to Katanning or Narrogin (300k round trip) with a restless puppy!! My friends have a feedlot

Shearing

Friday, 30 July 2010 by Admin
I went out to Burnside today (the Garard’s farm) as they were shearing. I needed a few pictures for the book trailer and for the website so people can see what I’m talking about when they read my next book. I found out today that there are three Burnside’s in WA (hence the PIN (for

Fog

Wednesday, 21 July 2010 by Admin
Winter – oh the joys of frosty mornings. On this particular morning I was on my way to my friends house to pick up my kids and the fog was really thick AND it was 10.30am!! Yes, the farmers would have been twiddling their fingers waiting for it to lift so they could go spraying.

Hopetoun

Wednesday, 16 June 2010 by Admin
We meet family in Hopetoun over the weekend to celebrate our niece’s 1st birthday. We arrived friday night to a mess as the caravan park had huge amounts of rain a few days before and our anix showed just how much. Hmmm….a bit of cleaning was needed but thankfully we had it sorted quickly. We

Pingaring Rock

Tuesday, 04 May 2010 by Admin
Monday was such a glorious day and I had finished the second draft on the book so it was time to spend some quality time with my family. My hubby and I packed a picnic and headed up the rock with the kids. We lay back like lizards soaking up the warm sun whilst the
