I haven’t been blogging much lately as I’ve been rather busy. With winter sports on I feel like I spend most of my time in our car, driving 60km to town so son can play auskick one day and then another trip for our hockey training. Then come weekend its off to which ever town we are playing, this weekend it’s against Bruce Rock which is just over an hour and a half trip to get there. I don’t add up my time spent in our car….I think the total would scare me!! And in the country it’s not just me doing it, everyone travels.

I do have some guest blogs coming up with new rural authors Barbara Hannay and Jennifer Scoullar, also Helene Young with her thrid book Burning Lies. Will be great to hear more from these wonderful ladies.

Now some details on where I will be in July. For those of you in WA, I am heading to Geraldton and will be talking at the Geraldton Regional Library on Tuesday 10 July 6pm-7.30pm. There will be books on sale at the event (cash only). Please RSVP to the Library on 9956 6659.

The week after I will be in Esperance, doing a talk at Le Grand Bookshop on Tuesday 17th July. From 12pm – 2.pm and a light lunch is provided. Please ring the bookshop for further details, also watch for more details on my Facebook page.

In August I will be on the Gold Coast for the Romance Writers of Australia Conference and the Australian Romance Readers Association is holding a massive booksigning, which I will be attending, so make sure you get along to that! Heaps of writers (about 65) in the one room! I will also be on the PENGUIN PANEL: DIAMONDS IN THE DUST: RURAL ROMANCE which is featuring Rachael Treasure, Belinda Byrne (Penguin Editor), Cathrine Hein,, and Barbara Hannay.

After I get back from the Gold Coast, I will be at the Dowerin Field Days on the 29th and 30th. I will be in the Lifestyle Pavilion site L17 (not far from rural author Rachael Johns) I will have books for sale (cash & cheque only).

On Friday 31st of August (after Dowerin) I will be at the Romance in the Avon event along with Rachael Johns. From 11am to 1pm at the historic Tipperary Church near York. The event is $20 per person, including light lunch & talks. Bookings are essential with Dymocks in Hay Street Mall, Perth. 9481 7822.
